Hi, welcome to my page! My name is Simrat Karamjeet, I am currently studying full stack web development with MERN at MITxpro online. In the first trimester of this bootcamp, I have created front-end projects using HTML, CSS, Javascript and shared them on GitHub. Some of the codes are written using the Test-driven development technique in the Agile methodology.
My previous education is in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources. After completing Master of Science from Purdue University, I worked with Golder Associates, as a Water Resource Specialist in US and Canada for about 4 years. In my role as a modeler, I worked with big data using MATLAB and VBA.
Upon completion of this course in April 2022, I am looking for a position where I can use the MERN stack for developing web applications. My background in engineering and technology also make me a great fit for user interface engineering roles.
